Egypt Part 7 : Luxor - Habu Temple - Red Sea - Cairo 2 (19:20)
From Luxor we visited the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings (alas - no video allowed) and the notorious Habu Temple (with very old pictures of chopped off penises and hands to prevent masturbation). - At the Red Sea we stayed at Cassous Bay and enjoyed the superbe underwater life. The last day in Cairo we spent in Old Cairo. - This is the last part of the Egypt videos.(19:20) - - Paul Pesie - Bergen (NH)

Guided Tour of: Madinat Habu Temple, Luxor, Egypt
After we had been to Queen Hatshepsut's Temple, we were taken to Madinat Habu Temple, which is also huge. - - It is about a 10 min drive from Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and is also breathtaking with the shear size of the place. It's very interesting to see how deep some of the carvings are. - - N.B - Apologies for the typo error at the beginning.

Madinat Habu - Luxor / Egypt
Madinat Habu is one of Egypt's best preserved and most interesting temples. Unfortunately, most tourists arrive here at the end of a long morning of sightseeing and rarely get more than a quick peek at this fascinating monument. The temple deserves better. It is one of the few monuments in Egypt to convey the emotional impact that religious art and architecture must have had for the ancient Egyptians. The site of Madinat Habu lies at the southern ...

The Phillips Family (and Angela) in Egypt! P.6
My favorite part of Egypt was the Medinat Habu Temple on the west bank of Luxor, near the Valley of the Kings. It was so perfectly preserved it was mind-blowing, with paint on many of the enormous heiroglyphics, all of which were deep-carven and exquisitely detailed. This video gives you some idea of the grandeur of the place, but only some. You have to be there to really experience it.
