I loved this lovely, sunny town located within walking distance of the border with France, only 400 km. from Paris. - - The state capital of Saarbrücken is the regional centre of the Saarland and is situated at the heart of the Saar-Lor-Lux region. The city has approximately 180.000 inhabitants and is strongly influenced by its proximity to France and the chequered history of a French-German border town.
