Magdeburg is the capital of the German state Sachsen-Anhalt. It's very old and beautiful city that goes back to around the year 805 AD. The music is by a famous composer from Magdeburg (that's what is says online) Georg Philipp Telemann. On July the 31th 2009 we visited Magdeburg by boat. Unfortunately our visit was restricted to only one afternoon. We had to leave earlier than planned, because the water of the river Elbe was decreasing rapidly. So if we would stay any longer there was the risk that our boat got stuck. This video shows the environment of the Magdeburg Cathedral.
