According to the China National Tourism Administration, the total number of foreign visitors entering China declined to under 13 million in the first half of this year. That's about a 5 percent drop compared with the same period last year. Authorities pointed to the worsening smog, the sluggish global economy, a stronger Chinese currency and H7N9 bird flu as reasons why.
