 Banc d'Arguin National Park

Banc d'Arguin National Park was established in 1976, it was designated a Ramsar Site in 1982 and a World Heritage Site in 1989. It protects 40% of the Mauritanian coastline. Partly as result of a permanent upwelling the area is in global terms extremely important for marine resources and for different species of Palearctic migratory shorebirds.

 Le Parc National de Banc d'Arguin

Le parc national du Banc d'Arguin (PNBA) est une réserve naturelle de Mauritanie. Couvrant un tiers du littoral mauritanien, il a une surface de 12 000 km2 partagés entre partie terrestre et partie continentale. Le Parc national du Banc d'Arguin est donc une des plus grands parcs d'Afrique de l'Ouest.
